• UltraTouch Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation is safe to handle and install without the need for protective clothing or special respiratory equipment. ^[1]

• Pricing starts at $72.00 for 5 sheets of R19-16 5.5" x 16.25" x 94.25" material, and goes up to $132.00 for 8 sheets of R30-24 8" x 24.25" x 48.25" material.

Material properties

Primary structural use

• UltraTouch Insulation does not have primary structural use. It can be installed in either wood or metal framing cavities and between furring channels by using a simple friction fit.

Dimensional and opening restriction

• UltraTouch is manufactured in “oversized” widths

and is installed with a friction fit to provide maximum fill capacity. This also reduces the chance for air convection and infiltration that can occur with smaller sized insulation batts.

Acoustic property

• UltraTouch offers an extremely high Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) to effectively reduce airborne sound transmissions including traffic, airplanes, radio, televisions, and everyday human conversation.
• The natural fibers used to make UltraTouch provide excellent sound-absorbing qualities, while the patented manufacturing process used to create UltraTouch produces a three-dimensional infrastructure that effectively traps, isolates, and controls sound waves. ^[2]

Environmental impact

The natural fibers used to manufacture UltraTouch are 100% recyclable, reducing landfill waste. The fibers are also 100% post-industrial, ensuring a high-quality fiber. UltraTouch requires minimal energy to manufacture, therefore aiding the environment with energy conservation and a reduction in pollution. UltraTouch containes zero VOC's, has no outgassing concerns, and lacks the formaldehyde of traditional insulations. ^[3]
